Frequently Asked Questions

Find clear answers about our stone and grout cleaning services, pricing details, and how to book your appointment with Stone Grout in the tri-state area.
  • What types of stone surfaces do you service?

We clean, polish, and restore a variety of natural stone surfaces including marble, granite, travertine, and limestone in kitchens, bathrooms, lobbies, and residential spaces.
  • How is pricing determined for your services?

Pricing depends on the size of the area, the type of stone, and the level of restoration needed. We provide detailed quotes after an initial assessment to ensure transparency.
  • What is the process to schedule a service appointment?

You can reach us by phone, email, or through our social media channels. After discussing your needs, we arrange a convenient time for our team to visit and perform the service.
  • Can you fix stains, dull spots, and etching on my marble?

Dull spots, water spots, ring marks and etching can be corrected with professional honing and polishing, since they sit on the surface. Stain removal is a more complex process, but in many cases we can successfully pull out even deeper, older stains, often well over 95% of the time. We’ll review photos or see it in person, explain what’s realistic for your specific stone, and only recommend stain treatment if we believe the result will be worth it.

  • Do you work in both homes and buildings?

Yes. We work in apartments, houses, townhomes, offices, building common areas, hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality spaces. We’re used to co-op and condo rules, super/management communication, elevator bookings, and providing insurance documents when needed.

  • How do you price a job?

Pricing depends on the size and condition of the area and the type of work needed. Most of the time we’ll ask you to send a few photos first, then give you a clear estimate and a minimum charge before we schedule anything. No surprise add-ons once we’re there.

  • Will there be dust, noise, or a mess?

We use a dustless process for our stone and grout work. Most of the equipment runs with water and proper vacuuming, so dust is kept to a minimum. There will be some normal working noise from the machines, but we protect nearby surfaces and, when we’re finished, we wipe down, mop, and leave the area clean and ready to use.
